“Sortir (v.) To Go Out” was an editorial commissioned for the “Escape” Issue, Issue #16, of Compound Butter Magazine, the food + art magazine hailing from Southern California. The Co-Creator & Art Director of Compound Butter, Jaya Nicely, commissioned writer Yusong Liu to write a piece on his experience spending “One Night Out in Paris” while studying abroad, and gave me that exact prompt, from there simply saying, go crazy.
