NYC restaurants are clamoring for retail space: demand is at an all time high and supply is at it’s lowest low low.
Brokers are saying, “If you can vent it, you can rent it,” recco-ing converting other spaces (bc F&B leases account for 35% of total city properties, or ~29,000 restaurants). As younger consumers are spending more $$ out, guests are choosing to visit social media trendy spots, like BarChef for their edible imbibing experience; Anita Gelato for the prettiest gelato (+ space!); and BabySips, a lil LES wine bar by industry ppl for industry ppl.
